SPCA of Brazoria County
Spay / Neuter Clinic

Affordable spay and neuter for our community.

Spaying and neutering is the single most effective way to reduce the number of homeless pets. Our clinic makes it affordable for every family in Brazoria County.

Why spay or neuter?

  • Prevents homelessness. A single unspayed cat can be responsible for thousands of descendants in a few years.
  • Healthier pets. Reduces the risk of certain cancers and infections.
  • Better behavior. Less marking, roaming, and aggression.
  • Cost effective. One spay or neuter costs less than caring for an unplanned litter.

What's included

Every spay and neuter at our clinic includes the surgery, anesthesia, post-operative pain medication, and a recovery cone. We use a board-certified anesthetic protocol overseen by our Medical Director, Dr. Charles Collins, DVM.
